Our in-school DG Dance Workshop program has been a huge success in the past 7 years. We have developed a workshop-style program that teaches students the basics of the chosen dance style while exercising and having fun! Each division learns a unique piece of choreography created just for them and performs at a Performance Assembly to conclude the workshop.
All classes are taught during school hours. Performance Assemblies are usually held during school hours, but we can accommodate evening performances. The DG Dance Workshops can be tailored to suit your school! In the past few years we have created Winter Concerts to showcase the students and other special events including integrated performances with Teacher dances, student-led choreography and spoken word.
Scholarship Program: We continue to offer scholarships to deserving students! The Scholarship program began in the 2013-14 season and was quite popular. It’s our way of giving back to the kids and encouraging them to dance! Scholarships are presented at the Performance Assembly and are based upon hard work, dedication, positive attitude and recommendations from School Staff/Administrators.
We have taught Hip Hop and Street Jazz workshops at the following schools in Richmond:
Blundell, Bridge, De Beck, Dixon, Errington, Hamilton, Kingswood, Manoah Steves, Maple Lane, McNeely, Tait, Tomsett, Walter Lee, Westwind and Woodward.
